The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) has recently received two awards in the field of Human Resources Development from the HRM Summit Awards 2023. The awarding ceremony was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour, between 9 and 10 October 2023. The Excellency in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award was received by the ASRY HR Division, whereas the HR Manager of the Year Award was accorded to ASRY HR Manager, Ms. Hanan Ahmed Alali.

These awards are a testament to the exceptional efforts taken by the company to support, develop, and empower its human resources, and attest to the competency and professionalism of the HR team. These two awards were received on behalf of the company by the Support Services General Manager & the Human Resources Senior Manger Mr. Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the Human Resources Manager, Ms. Hanan Al-Ali, during the awards ceremony that was held at the Intercontinental Regency Hotel on Monday evening, October 9, 2023.

The Managing Director, Mr. Mazen Matar, expressed his delight at receiving these awards that recognize the company’s efforts and contributions to the development of the field of human resources in the region.
